A Word From the President

What is the number one question on the minds of the victims who have suffered at

the hands of an out of control behavior? How and why did we reach such a

deplorable state? During my many years of experience, I have concluded that while

having a sense of direction, if I am to accomplish anything let the purpose be

education with enlightenment. If I am to understand the direction our society has

gone, I’m to understand without a superior attitude, the answers to such a gigantic

complex problem. A problem that’s been seeded over time, without the regards to

knowledge, and experience; knowledge says I’m experienced at the difficult

challenges we face; experience says this is the way through the uncertain direction

of a storm.

SOTERIA, is design to improve the development of an individual’s life, skills and

abilities which will enable and support a “self- sufficient “lifestyle as a

contributing member of society.

Emphasis is placed on the development of interpersonal skills, anger management,

parenting skills, workforce preparatory, job search assistance, sober- living

housing, substance abuse education and management of personal finances. Where

needed, computer skills and GED preparation will be made available.

Let us filter through this process together, so that change can make a mark that

cannot be erase.
